JenniferStephanie Italia Ricci, born on the 29th of October of 1986, is an Canadian-American actress. She's famous for playing April Carver in the 2014-2015 ABC Family television series Chasing Life, and for acting as White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor Emily Rhodes in the television drama series Designated Survivor from 2016 to 2019.During 2009, Ricci began appearing in American productions with small parts in How I Met Your Mother, House, and Greek. In the same year, Ricci also was a regular character as Sasha in the comedy series Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central. In 2010, she appeared in Unnatural History on Cartoon Network as Maggie Winnock. She also appeared as herself in a Clean & Clear ad. In 2011, she was a part in the short film Valediction. Ricci was in a small part in the film as Don Jon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's first film as a director.
